When you come...

I will need more than just your dog. Your dog needs to be vaccinated for rabies, and hopefully, you care to have him vaccinated against all the other dog diseases that lurk about. Personally, I've been bitten enough by "friendly" dogs that I need that protection. Often, owners will tell me that their dog does not bite; or he's an "inside" dog and does not need rabies vaccination; etc. Well, the truth of the matter is that I need to protect myself from the unknown, and the law of the State of Texas and the City of Houston is that all dogs must be vaccinated for rabies.

I will accept a simple receipt with date of expiration or certificate for rabies vaccination as provided by your veterinarian. I can no longer accept phone verification from your vet as the City of Houston requires me to have in hand written proof of rabies vaccinations for all dogs on the premises.
